Long-term provisionals are crowns made in the clinic on the same day and are made of composite, which are firmly cemented, are stable and already look very genuine. These remain in the mouth for the time of healing of the implants and are replaced after 3 to 24 months by the final all-ceramic crowns.
You will receive at least in the esthetic area a temporary tooth-coloured crown. It may vary on a case-by-case basis.
An immediate implant is when the tooth is extracted and replaced with the implant in the same session.
